"Lizard of Doubt"

Written by: Sioux Browning     Directed by: Gary Harvey

When Andrew gets serious about having a baby, Chris gets nervous about their relationship changing - bye-bye spontaneity, hello responsibility. The scope of her fears broadens when Andrew reveals that Geoff tried to kiss him at their last dinner party. Andrew grumbles that he hates it when people come on to him, but Chris begins to have nagging doubts about Andrew's interest in men – and his real interest in her. Despite her mother's reassurances, her doubts multiply when Andrew, although very enthusiastic at the prospect of conception, can't quite maintain the mood. Chris's efforts to arouse him backfire and Andrew walks out. Chris goes looking for Geoff – she has an axe to grind – but finds Stanley alone instead. Stanley lets her vent and she's temporarily calmed. It's a brief respite though – when she returns home ready to make up with Andrew, he drops a bomb. Chris goes to her mother for advice - but comes up with a Plan A that's all her own.

Popular Vancouver Realtor Spice Lucks has a cameo appearance in this episode. Spice allowed the production to use one of her "For Sale" signs as a prop, and it was so believable, that she started receiving phone calls from the public wanting to buy Taylor Manor, the building that doubles as Robson Arms.
